Chief Scientist releases final report, page-3

Having scanned the report now my observations are:

*They are generally supportive for the need for the industry and the risks can be managed.
*Their first recommendation is that the Govt puts forward a clear statement that they will support the industry and why. Can't see this coming from Roberts or before the election.
* Can't see a definition of "effective community consultation", although as I said I did scan the report.
* Biggest risk for Mel is if they decide to exclude areas from CSG extraction including Mel's Pels, but the report does not address how they may do that (compensation).
