The crazy part of it is that the government is willing to give the nursing homes huge sums of money for the care of the elderly, homes which in many cases are operated by ethnic groups who are always screaming for more profit and handouts, run them with a skeleton staff, who have no compassion for their charges and yet the government will not give more than a token payment if you want to care for your relies yourself.

Do you know there is no legislation to actually control what goes on in a Aged Care Home, the government can only "advise"
