Note, I was talking about "quality education" (at the EC level); i.e., the formation of the citizen - building multiple literacies, foundations for numeracy, volitional attention and self-discipline, foundations for creativity and criticality, core respect and values, health and body, etc.

These are skills meant to equip the individual to be successful contributors to the benefit of all.

I agree that some 20-30 year olds with still adolescent mindsets and delayed adulthood are already good examples of what happens with inadequate attention to fostering resilience and self efficacy during their formative years.
