Seven figurative days you goose...not 7 x 24 hours days...according to the Bible writings a day was a thousand years, so it was over five thousand years the "creation" of the earth took place, during the sixth (thousand year) "day" man and all the animals were apparently created...with the seventh day, (thousand years) as a rest day...so it goes...
Some Bible students believe we may still within that 7th "thousand year" day.
