    Carzee, how much gold do you think is in Fort Knox? According to the US govt. it is 8124 tonnes. More than bit but total value at today's prices is a massive $275b or so. It wont even pay a few months interest on the debt. It is not relevant to the discussion of the debt problem out there. The numbers quoted have gone way beyond what the current financial system can adequately cover. They will have to invent a new word for Ponzi scheme.
