Credit I may not have done the amount of research that you have but I was of the beleive that ANZ was a financier of chimera.
Have alook at the ANZ..They pulled out of Gunns country muncher because it was of the public opinion in Tassy and around OZ who dissapproved of its support for something that was going to destroy the tamar valley.. all bad PR.
Its handling of the Opres prime debacle.. how they seized stock and then dumped it on the market at a discount, and now there involvement with a bunch of FWs who beleive that everyday is a bull market.And to a lesser extent where they pulled there advertiseing on that pathetic ego self indulgent self stimulating crap that is the fooTY show.. more bad PR.
Lets see what happens.. what they need to do is restore some credibility amongst there peers and that doesnt mean doing an OPRES PRIME.Bul is inoccent and should not be punished for what is out of there control.
