Gracell Biotechnologies released results for their newly diagnosed multiple myeloma Phase 1 trial. Pretty impressive and again shows what Car-T can do in blood cancers. Summary below highlights efficacy and safety. I believe this is using patient cells with next day manufacturing.
This is a roughly $250 million Mkt Cap company doing research predominately in China but founded and led by some quality talent.
Chimeric has shown positive signs in Blood Cancer. The above results are impressive for new patients but keep in mind that Chimeric's trial was on heavily pre-treated patients. I am really looking forward to seeing how they target the solid tumors with CHM2101 and the other planned Car-T/NK Combo's. I will be waiting impatiently (for some time) to see how CHM3101 pans out.
The above share GRCL had massive volume compared to average on Friday and I will be watching to see how it preforms on the back of these results. I will keep this in mind for expectation management when positive news flows from Chimeric in the future. Have a look at its chart since IPO and take some comfort that Chimeric is not alone in depressed share price alongside actual positive developments.
Hopefully we receive some positive updates form the CHM1101 trial that brought many earlier investors here but fortunate that Chimeric now has substantially diversified and complementary assets in its pipeline.
