AdAlta just entered into a collaboration with Carina Biotech to try and create a bi-specific CAR-T.
Nothing directly to do with CHM, but it's good to keep an eye out on what's happening in the market. Seeing yet another CAR-T enter the ASX (PTX, CHM and 1AD are the ones I'm aware of) is a sign of things to come with more to come online as the industry continues to grow.
1AD will be starting their own pre-clinical studies, so while they have a concept.. they still don't quite know what their CAR-T is going to be just yet. Still a lot of experimental studies and safety work to get through .. with the hope of generating some noteworthy data. This is going to take them years, and if they are lucky they will find something worth taking into the clinic and will file an IND with the FDA, and start a phase 1 trial.
CHM is already half way through our first phase 1 study... and another phase 1 study to start next year, both of these phase 1 trials are on the back outstanding data on solid tumors.
