Unfortunately this isn't true. There are heaps of ongoing and completed clinical trials of CAR-Ts in solid tumors. And some have shown signs of efficacy.

In fact there have been several other CAR-Ts trialed in GBM with some signs of efficacy.

Here's a paper from 2021 on CAR-T trials in solid tumors. GBM is the first tumour type discussed. CHM 1101 didn't get a mention back then.

One of these days I'm going to hunt down the latest results from some of these clinical trials and see how CHM compares.
