Wee, I think the difference which will determine the winners and losers in the mining space will be the costs.
It is ridiculous for the markets to park money in underwater RE recovery schemes. They are a boondoggle. The sea bed is the largest source of Gold on the planet. 8-10 times more than on land. But, who is mining for gold in the sea? Just a few crews, 20 feet down up in the Bering Sea.
The costs will never justify the reward. You are correct, Mt. Weld is a true honey pot for the Western Hemisphere.
Dont even get me started on those who want to mine the moon.
