Interestingly enough, Yesterday Xinhua news agency put out a "propaganda" headline reporting on their wechat platform, telling a story how a NZ diary business man travelled all the way from New Zealand to Shanghai, taking 14 days quarantine, to participate the CIIE. If you dont know who Xinhua news is please google, and I have never seen any positive rerportings on any of 5 eyes for a long time until Yesterday. The signal this reporting brings convinces me Chinese govt will treat NZ a bit differently than their trans tasman brother. Further more, it looks to me that A2s geopolitical risks are significantly reduced with their in depths partnership with China state owned corporations like state farm and bright diary.
