Good articles and thanks. The Chinese and the Russians signed that deal for oil a couple of months ago and I was very surprised and could see that it would have an affect on the USD and I posted as much. DANHOFF that website is in Russian so I cant read it but tks for the brief transcription.
China is definitely aiming at becoming the next reserve currency or a reserve currency IMO. IMO Gold is being smashed to protect the U.S. Dollar as it falls, otherwise the USD would be found wanting badly.
Infose's posts about Chinese Gold reserves are probably taken from Wikipedia and as such the latest Gold reserve statements are taken from the previous statements which is at least 10 years old. Reserve banks as far as Im aware don't publish their reserve holdings especially the U.S. and China.
