I found this story in The Land (but likely first published in the Australian Dairy Newsletter) a little thought provoking. It occurs to me that the Mengniu acquisition of Bellamys (if it goes through) and the stated "expansion of markets" objective of Mengniu can only be a good thing for milk producers, particularly organic milk producers, including AHF. If the expansion plans were to be fulfilled it is going to create additional demand for milk, the supply of which has come down quite a lot over the past couple of years. GLTA
