I understand that everyone including me wants REE prices to increase. unfortunatly this leads to assumptions of every time China Does something they will do same to REE prices look at this post

they do it to cobalt so the assumption is they will do it to REE next. Even a casual investigation show that markets are quite different and links should not be made.

• Australia: 5,900¹, 5,100²
• Canada: 3,900¹, 3,000²

Pleas do some research before drawing conclusions.

The US and EU are clamping down the flow of technology to China, both intellectual and equipment. China wants to get our attention but not do anything two severe that may cause us to respond more forcefully. REE price reductions are having the effect they want a REE embargo would be counter productive to this action. =Just think about it! Yes, an embargo would hurt and cause prices to skyrocket. How does this help China's long term goals?
