China seemed to be cruising along quite nicely. Then Corona pops up and the world takes a dim view.

As an aside $16tn of US debt and growing, China owning a fair old chunk of that. US can’t keep on going the way it is. They also own trillions of debt across the globe.

Now motive to change that status quo:

China making moves on power projection (much like the Brits) by buying countries almost proverbially. Nominally becoming the financial superpower in short order. COVID now brings in a dim view of that too.

South China Sea is a basin of immense wealth to whoever owns it - take legitimate claimed from at least half a dozen countries. But China, like the Brits, got in first and is ruling the roost - currently. (But who is the current bad guy poisoning the world?)

Now, China don’t like criticism, (COVID), makes the elite look real bad, so they come out talking tough and playing rough. Now that plays into the hands of he debtors....

    1) They can and will be blamed for COVID 19, by a lot of chinese debt owners.

    2) America’s biggest single industry is ‘war’. They need one to survive (financially speaking)

When the time is right - the conflagration begins in the South China Sea. China doesn’t have the sea power to win that one against a combined force (nominally under the name NATO to give legitimacy)

Game over, US wins, debt written off all over the world. Chinese leadership usurped and condemned to death.

    And the world moves on.

China need to go back to playing the long game they were playing and winning. They shout too much and off we go to war again, humanity can’t help itself it’s useless.

    Simples.
