Hi forum,
This is my first posting, and I have a few shares in Lynas but I keep wondering that if the rare earth produced by Lynas could be a threat to the current near monopoly of China on RE, then perhaps there could be strong reasons for heavy Chinese backing of the Stop Lynas lobby.
In other words, what is Lynas doing building a sensitive plant so close to China in the first place? The Chinese are very powerful in that part of the world.
