CJ, interesting idea that the lead acid battery will be upgraded to 48V. Do you have a manufacturer in mind? Any further data?
I lost a significant amount of money on a lead acid battery scam. LEAD is not as bad a word as radioactive, but still pretty bad. The EU has continued to grandfather them, but they are doomed. Huge efforts to delete lead and mercury from cars via both science and legislation.
Obviously BEVs don't need one and they only have one now due to legacy dashboard items mostly. Whereas ICE cars can't do without one.
I will be very surprised if you can back up your 48V lead acid battery claim.
