Opinion only - I'd expect a crash, if any, to be next year. Basic reason the US (and Aust) is in election mode - throwing money and making promises that stimulate economic activity. Bullishness in election years has been noted by Stan Weinstein (Secrets for making profits in Bull and Bear Markets, pp.68-69). This doesn't mean corrections won't come this year, but I'd bet the larger downturns for next year.
