Couldn't agree more to your comment. Rare earth's are a strategic resource!! Why would China let a strategic resource go so easily.
With technology advancing more and more by the day and the demand for these resources being the requirements to support these technologies, honchos like Obama will definitely try to throw their weight around.
Rare earths is on everyone's minds, there is definitely some manipulation happening at the moment. When production happens and our produces hit the market there will definitely be some sort of auction for our products (there is only an x amount that is being exported out of china at the moment).
Patience is a virtue. I think we will be rewarded soon enough.
