you assume I'm a new holder?

this sort of political change is precisely the kind of broader geopolitical change I, personally, have been waiting for.

competing against Chinese rare earths was always going to keep MRD in the land of hopes and dreams.

my hope was that rare earths became a bargaining chip in the US-China trade war. and it is finally happening.

as you may or may not be aware, China did this to Japan a few years ago. to much consternation in the west. since then, Covid has happened, supply chain security has become a huge priority, and the trade war has begun and relations with China are all time lows.

the chances of massive subsidies for rare earths within the US and, and it's inner circle allies, such as Australia, goes up exponentially.

this deposit was very very unlikely to ever be economical when competing against China. with China gone, this deposit becomes significantly more attractive.

yes it's a long shot. and yes MRD isn't alone in the queue to try to cash in, but this turn of events is the best thing to happen in a long time.
