The Fanya Metal Exchange (FYME) is a minor metals spot trading exchange with large scale of clients’ assets under management. Its mission is to utilize China's unique advantages on minor metal resources and the advanced E-commerce mode to promote the transformation of Chinese traditional minor metals industry. It provides buying, selling and financing services for enterprises, as well as convenient and efficient minor metal investment service for investors. The Fanya Metal Exchange began transaction on April 4, 2011. There are 14 varieties of listed commodities including Indium, Germanium, Cobalt, Tungsten (APT), Bismuth, Gallium, Silver, Vanadium, Antimony, Selenium and Tellurium, rhodium, dysprosium oxide, terbium oxide.
The prices of Indium, Germanium, Gallium, Bismuth and
Tungsten (APT) listed in the Fanya Metal Exchange have been leading the international price trend in the past four years. The Fanya Metal Exchange is becoming increasingly influential in the international minor metal industry and has made great contribution to Chinese minor metal industry. Take indium for example, more than 90 percent of indium is trading through the Fanya Metal Exchange and the inventory has increased to more than 3,600 tones which is eight times of Chinese annual output and five times of world annual output.
Minor metals are important fundamental materials for national economic development. Indium, germanium, gallium, bismuth, cobalt and tungsten are called electronic metal or vital metal. Minor metals have wide application values in areas like high-tech, new energy, new material, modern aviation, modern military and so on. Because of the scarceness in reserves, minor metal has become one of the strategic resources competed by various global economies.
Developed economies such as USA, Japan and Korea are continuously increasing their national strategic reserves on minor metals and encourage non-gonvernmental organizations to purchase and store. From the perspective of the world economy, the protection and utilization of minor metal are closely related to a country’s strategy, safety and development.

With regards to indium, germanium, bismuth, gallium, tungsten and other varieties, Fanya price has led the global price, issuing a strong voice of China on the international minor metals industry.
By the end of June 2015, the accumulated turnover has been more than RMB 325.7 billion and there have been more than 230 thousand members nationwide. The total commodity trading volume has been nearly 440 thousand tons. The Fanya Metal Exchange has contributed more than RMB 36.7 billion private capital to supply chain.
