Don't know about others, but I suspect with the onset of Lynas and Moly coming on in the past months that China is doing the opposite it did a few years ago.
They could be flooding the market.
The demand since the start of the year is UP.
There is no question on this.
The demand is of course lower than a couple years back, no question. One of the main reasons, the driving force, why demand was so high a few years back is because there was a race to secure the product in the face of uncertainty.
...Flooding the market legal and illegally. I wouldn't put it past China.
And if it is illegal than the legal numbers for demand would appear sluggish.
Conspiracy? No way, it is normal practice...we all know how the Chinese Government play. We have seen this before!!
