With out a doubt(IMO) the chinese are trying to protect their monopoly on rare earths, and being a communist authoritorium state , not hobbled by profit motive, are flooding the world markets with cheap product in order to break lyc and moly...one can only hope that countries like japan,,, who have a long and dark history of dealing with the sino mindset will prevail... in the meantime we must just grit our teeth and wait for common sense to prevail
