Happy New Year from China to all MON (& AAR) holders!

The Shanghai Futures Exchange will start trading
in gold futures from January 9 (next week).
The contract size will be 1000 g, and as such somewhat
larger than than originally expected (i.e. 300 g) -
in order to discourage individual Chinese investors.

The outlook for gold in 2008 is bullish.
2008, the year of the Golden Rat, should be
a fantastic year (imo) for all longterm holders.
With the Q report out later this month
it is now time for MON to shift gear and move north
Walhalla was a disaster, but that is now behind us.
The future is looking very bright indeed.

Our patience has been tested with this one...
but I am very confident MK will deliver the goods during
the year of the Golden Rat.
