The Liu's nabbing stunt (not taken lightly for it reflects very poorly on China univerally famous for corruption) and People's Daily media blitz since April of SOE assuming control tell us SERIOUS counters are not only interested but have conducted due diligence and are ready to pounce when the moment is ripe.

I speculate China's competitors are no push over but are also working COLLECTIVELY to take over and sharing the risks, costs and responsibilities. Some may be offtake customers as well.
