I think China's business reputation has taken a large hit as a result of this deal, no longer are they the preferred partner for many small to medium miners, regardless of the access to cheap finance and debt.

Not when they are likely to play games/screw you and you could wake up with a horse head in your bed one morning.

IMO trust in relation to Chinese business dealings has gone out the window and when it's gone, its very hard to get back.
