I think you could be wrong with your thinking.
Yes SDL have high grade DSO.
SDL's main resource is lower grade Itabirite type iron ore that needs benificiating to a Concentrate and or Pellet Feed.
The Itabirite is a little bit higher grade than most of Afferro's iron ore.
Afferro is looking to benificiate its ore into a high grade product as well.

SDL's Itabirite could be produced from around year two or three. That would be of interest for Posco I would have thought.
SDL are looking to use three or four of its areas for the initial DSO product.
Metzimevin and Mbarga South are small DSO deposits with Itabirite below the DSO. These two areas could be producing Itabirite from year two or three.
Metzimevin also has a lower grade Detrital type iron ore as well as the Itabirite.

It would take Posco or who ever a couple of years from first DSO production to build the Itabirite infrastructure. Cash from DSO production could be used to pay for Itabirite Infrastructure as was expected to be done.

They could also look at the Rear Earths at Metzimevin at the same time to see if it is worth looking to produce from it.
