    I posted - Jack - you have posted some good ideas.

    here are some idle speculations of mine -- Australia could talk to India about a "special economic zone" in the Pilbara where India and Australia could jointly invest in and operate a new state-of-the-art steel industry - sufficiently outside Australian industrial/union/environmental laws. India could provide staff to the zone. Is there a huge strategic opportunity here? Why not offer India the use of a port/base that could be jointly used by the Indian Navy on the shores of the Indian Ocean where we share joint interests and should work closely.
    In addition to cricket where we are bound to India.

    BTW - according to the RBA China was taking between 35-40% of our exports in 2020.

    Surely something like this is win-win
