Chinese products are now on my
absolutely avoid if at all possible list.
I have purchased 10s of 000s of $ of Chi products in the last decade and I agree with what you say about poor quality.

Programmed obsolescence is part of the equation. Woeful return on investment.
I believed that their modern factories would have produced reasonable quality.
I WAs wrong.
My $ won’t be supporting the biter of my hand

the bellicosity
the inhumane practices
