Best to distinguish the current regime in China from the people.
Although I have dealt with many spoilt and arrogant children of high level party officials, it's impossible to generalise about such a colossal population.
There is a lot to admire about China and their grievances about Japan and England from the Sino-Japanese war and the Opium war respectively, are probably sound, at some point they need to move on. China is obsessed with status and having pre-eminence and has been frustrated by the US sidelining it.
Having said that, cyber attacks are real and unacceptable.
