Naturally China will expect a quid - pro - quo!
Favourable treatment and lots of mining leases and old mines.
And obviously to be gifted with leases not being developed or explored by foreign companies as for recent news items.

Anvil has contributed and is active and has good relationship with Congo Government so should be quarantined from any "take offs" by Congo Government.
Market has reduced valuation of Anvil shares due to this uncertainty.
Share price should move accordingly after Congo Government has signalled the "all clear" for Anvil.

Now that China is moving in big time the benefit for Anvil is that China will be very influential should there be any political unrest or rebel activity in the Congo from now on.

Our "guess-timate" of Anvil share price closer to $25 by end of 2007 looks optimistic now.
However early 2008 might see a share price close to this target.
Assuming a few positive outcomes.
