I've been racking my brain trying to work out the investment Jihua is making in Broo by funding the marketing and promotional costs associated with the brand in China.
I refer to an article written by @James Atkinson back in March this year "Broo must spend big in China: Expert".
The expert, Nguyen, formerly of AB InBev and organiser of the Beernanza beer festival, estimated that a beer launch by Broo would require a minimum marketing investment of 10 Chinese Yuan ($1.90) per case and based
on the sale of five million cases the marketing investment would be $9.5 million.
As per Broo's recent announcement "BROO SECURES MAJOR CHINESE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK", if Broo sells the planned 1.5 billion litres or approximately 200 million slabs??, the marketing investment by Jihua would be approximately $380million???
This sounds like a huge investment in Broo by Jihua. If @James Atkinson is still on hotcopper, I would appreciate your response. Thanks.
