The major players have not been able to "win" even in the case of Russia, in neighbouring countries.
China would have to come 1/4 of the way around the planet, past a dozen or so other countries to get to Aus.
That must be on the top of their list of things to do, lol
It is easier for them to buy us "bit by bit" and a lot cheaper too
