The problem with a lot of these figures is China has over 4 times the population of the US.
China is a long way from having the same level of public services and support for their people.
It has also built entire cities to keep its building industry alive. Cities that have no residents.
The fall in the IO and coal should tell you something about China's health.
China also cannot feed itself nor can Indonesia. They both have big big population problems and it will get a lot worse now China has rescinded the one child policy.

Not saying that the US is not in dire straights just that the figures coming out of China are even less believable. A lot of companies and corporations in China are state owned.
