For sure Resource scarcity is an issue - food, water and energy firstly.
If a county can create its own currency and fund purchases or "acquisitions" of such resources - how is that going to work?
It will mean that resources and commodities can no longer be traded or valued in such currencies. With this in mind, it makes perfect sense for commodity and resource deals to be valued in another way.
Same goes for credit - who the hell would lend you money in a currency that you can print? In future you would only lend to that entity on very different terms.
If an exploration or development company wants to do a deal in an African Country - is that African county going to accept the USD offer or the offer in a Commodity such as grain or Gold?
This is common sense, however the road there will not be smooth.
