Just noticed China has just lifted tariffs on Australian wine, this must indicate finally that they are really open for Australian business.
PPY had started negotiations, but they collapsed with the political situation went downhill. I assume these discussions will recommence.
Not to forget our Australian/Chinese PPY significant investors (BPE Investments Pty Ltd (BPE) and Union Pacific
Equites Pty Ltd (Union Pacific), who have always highlighted the huge potential for the Chinese market.
Hopefully, you have already commenced your discussions.
Will PPY do a deal in China, because with significant banana production and high unemployment in the rural areas and not to mention the environmental benefits it seems a no brainer for these scalable value-added products.
