has just completed its restructuring of HNC by looks. HNC/HAR has several assets in Oz and owns 76% of AII Have a gutfeel that sooner or later all oz assets may end up in AII or maybe direct into China MinMet, inc AII itself.
HNC acquired majority hold in AII not that long ago via partial takeover offer at 83 cps. the remaining minority shares are now at about 10 cps on market. Did HNC get it THAT wrong ?
AII has a lot going for it in its own right. But my gutfeel is that restructuring / consolidation of China MinMets global assets has just begun with HNC itself. What will the Beijing new masters do next.
Considering all, AII looks a low risk spec investment for mid term. In the SMSF for mine.
