We have been aware of the MinMetals t/o of HNC for some time and rightly or wrongly assumed that has been the major impass that has prevented HNC opening dialogue with us
HNC has lost much face over the debalce that has been CMR - am sure most shareholders would be happy to have just lost face but most have lost so much money that face or pride is irrelevant
Hopefully,(once bedded down) the change from HNC to MinMetals will give the Chinese the opportunity to show they are reakky out to work with Australians and Australia rather than rape and pilaging our resources
We have been trying to speak with HNC thru Alex Xu at HAR since this whole nonsence started but had little back. Can only assume the reason for that is HNC was in limbo waiting for MinMetals to take over. If so - now that the T/O is bedded down - there is no longer a reason not to speak
There are really only TWO groups of people interested in seeing the assets of CMR exploited to the full - that is CMR shareholders and the Chinese Joint Venture Partners-
