China February Iron Ore Imports 46.74 Mln Tons, Up 22% On Year

China imported 46.74 million metric tons of iron ore in February, up 43% from 32.65 million tons in January, preliminary data provided Wednesday by the General Administration of Customs showed.


February iron ore imports rose 22.4% from last February's 32.8 million tons.


Year to date, imports rose 6% to 79.39 million tons.
