Would the long suffering shareholders get a decent return though ? The Chinese are not known for being over generous. The LSS (long suffering shareholders) would most likely need multiples of the current share price to break even, let alone get a decent return. Unless the sp goes for a long upward run prior to a bid then I think a lot of the LSS will be taking a hit. From my own previous experience the sp doesn't do that, and in fact is held at a level and sometimes driven down before a takeover. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see a takeover at this particular time being good news. I'd rather suffer a bit longer and wait for the U price to recover. DYOR
