Takes twenty years to train or if you like make a fund manager, therefore they have to come up through the old school and when you finally arrive they are well schooled in the old line of thought, that being that we follow the yanks.
Any body with half a brain could look at the last eight years of charts and see that we have almost doubled and the the yanks have improved by some twenty or at best thirty percent only, in fact they are behind even core inflation let alone monetary inlfation.
We are so far distanced from the yanks in economic health it is a joke but the old line of thought says when the yanks go down we must sell and they do, causing a self inflicted endemic situation, the more they sell the more we go down and the happier they are in their knowledge that "we follow the yanks"
