china places quota on rp exporting

    Also in Fert Week, but in Thurs 5/2/09 it reported China's RP figures for 07 & 08 & went on to mention their quota for this year. In 07 they exported 0.965m tonnes of RP. In 08 it was 1.8m tonnes. For 09 they have imposed a quota of 1.5m tonnes.

    This should support upward pressure on RP price with the supply from China dropping this year.

    Any thoughts?
