They will wilfully slow economic growth. This is the economic retribution I talked about weeks ago. The government can slow growth at the drop of a hat without thought as to how many of its citizens will be affected. In fact, unlike Australia, you will find that many middle class in China will be in favour of slowing growth if it allows China to assert its power. Many western minds find this hard to understand and accept.
