China rare earth exports were 15292 tons in the first four months, up 90.1% year on year

the Japanese are buying ... let them swing from the gallows and pay through the nose
it appears to have now caught up with the Japanese via:-
1. electric vehicle sales doubling every year for the past 3 years - and with it significant consumption of dy permanent magnets - with Japan the biggest consumers outside of China
2. the alternative dy-free "high performance" magnets are a hoax, because they all require cobalt and as anyone that reads investor intel knows there are significant cobalt shortages - alternatives without the essential ingredient means there are no alternatives - again Japan is the big looser
3. China in the strongest terms has "forbidden" illegal production of rare earths - again Japan one of the biggest consumers of illegal rare earths will suffer the most
4. Even Amanda Lacaze (Lynas CEO) knows what's going on "By stockpiling this material (Dy & Tb) now, Lynas is confident of capturing upside value as demand grows in the future". Even Amanda is withholding Dy & Tb from the Japanese who have had it too good for too long.
It's time for the Japanese to pay - no more free rides and with Chinese rare earth exports booming it's obvious the Japanese are buying

and to cap it all off we have seen two continual weeks of rare earth price rises across the board, with Dy and Tb experiencing the biggest rises over the past two weeks
this is how booms commence, it starts with the raw material price then feeds through to stock prices, for stocks with that commodity, we saw it happen with gold, and uranium, and rare earths and lithium - is out time again - if the rare earth prices rises continue the answers is an emphatic Yes
