So, if Dr Ally has fallen into a bifurcation fallacy but both verses are true descriptions of the cause of David's sin, then doesn't your answer mean God and the Devil must be the same cause ... regardless of any "direct pecking order" you impose to get around the issue.

David sinned because he choose to! We all have a choice and sin is always at the door but it is up to us to be overcomers and "Walk as Jesus Walked" This is possible because He has given us a Helper ...…..... The Holy Spirit!
