Australia is basically America's lap dog and if conflict escalates, Australia will most likely take USA's side. China is already hedging this by investing heavily in Africa and other Asian nations. This will see them being less reliant on Australian for resources etc.
Funny how America is accusing China of being the aggressor when it is involved in countless wars, funding warlords in africa and multiple army bases around the world.
Australia should remain neutral.
