I work in China, manufacturing there. They are the most industrious hard working people I have every seen. Despite all the negative, I have enormous respect for the effort the Chinese are making in building their country. Must have been like this in America in the post war period.
And they are smart! If the Party decide to do something, it will be done.
I do not see the Chinese sitting around waiting for the Western world to get their act together. They have a 1.3 billion domestic market.
I travel and work there 5 times a year, I have firsthand experience. I invest in China, I believe in what they are doing, and I invest in the companies in Australia who supply them.
About time people looked at this side of things. It is too easy to spread fear when people are fearful. You just have to read the posts on HC. Things are bad at present, and I have been sh@t scared at the possible outcomes of the current correction.
I keep the faith, I have seen it. Glas is half full on my table. Sooooo much better being an optimist :)
