There are 188 IMF member countries, virtually the whole world, all with voting power big and small, so to deny China a senior place by veto SHOULD be a difficult thing to justify.

Interesting also to speculate how China will regard the IMF if and when it gets its senior position. Will it just be a case of 'conquer and move on?"
