A radio report this morning stated that China has large stockpiles of iron ore and that steel production was being reduced and that iron ore prices could thus be effected.

Fortunately for CDU , copper will be CDU'S main product and the iron ore component[ magnetite ] will not have a significant bearing on profitability.

Unlike iron ore and coal which are available in many parts of the world in massive quantities, copper is in a different catagory. CDU, with its open cuts and to be a multiple mineral producer, is, in my opinion, better placed than if it were solely in iron ore or coal.
