Designed as an independant form of currency and storage of wealth.
They can be moved around/transferred at near zero cost, circumventing banks, any value without authorities knowing.
The problem is that the idea which was made to create a form of freedom in exchange of value could be the same idea which is used to crush what little freedom we have left with our government based currency system.
